Friends,
Please take a moment to visit The Big Stick and read about my proposal for the Wendell Wilkie Pledge. In the month we have left before this election it is more important than ever that those of us who have a voice in the political community show a willingness to honor the outcome of this election. Visit my post to learn more.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

p.c., i read it yesterday. i think it’s fine you bring it up, but what do you think is going to happen? we’re not going to set up some underground anarchist community. 2000 didn’t go the way a lot of people wanted, but the country went (crappily) on.
and the republican administration has been very intent over the last seven years on quashing public debate, scientific reasoning, and legal arguments against any part of its agenda. i think the “wilkie pledge” pertains as much to the “winners” as to the “losers”.
